.STAGE, a dialect-based hyperlocal OTT platform has raised INR 40 crores in funding Earlier the company raised an investment of INR 31 crores making the total capital raised to ₹71 crores.
The recent funding of INR 40 crores was led by Blume Ventures with participation from other ventures including AngelList, Dholakia Ventures, Lets Ventures, Longtail Ventures, NB Ventures, Mumbai Angels, Tailwind Ventures, Tarmac Ventures, TSM Ventures, and WeFounderCircle.

The platform is launched in November 2019 by Parveen Singhal, Shashank Vaishnav, and Vinay Singhal, STAGE is a digital, regional, hyper-localized content curator platform that brings out entertaining, informative, and trending content in different languages and dialects. The founders earlier co-founded WittyFeed.

Started with Haryanavi content, the platform carries a vision of becoming a platform for all dialect-speaking people across the country. STAGE is also planning to launch content in the top 20 dialects to reach around 200 million+ households in the country. With more than 2,25,000 subscribers, STAGE is growing at 30 percent on a month-over-month basis.
The platform has produced numerous hits in Haryanvi including Akhada, College Kaand, Group-D, etc. Moreover, the platform has also started the Rajasthani dialect in June 2022 with over 10,000 subscribers.
Vinay Singhal, Co-founder of the company said that “The capital raised will be used to go deeper in Haryana and Rajasthan, create more original content and grow the product.”
On the other hand, Karthik Reddy, Co-founder of Blume Ventures said, “STAGE’s slogan (कंपनी नहीं, हम क्रांति है) describes the passion and motivations of the team to build for the immense diversity of language and dialect that India offers.” He also added, “Building quality content is the best bet to conserve our dialects and languages and this is STAGE’s mission.”
