Mission Majnu: When And Where To Watch
Mission Majnu is an Indian patriotic spy-thriller film starring Sidharth Malhotra and directed by Shantanu Bagchi. The film was originally planned for a theatrical release but was delayed and eventually acquired by Netflix for streaming. Based on true events, the film shows the picture of the 1970s when a RAW agent, played by Malhotra, is assigned to expose and take down Pakistan’s covert nuclear weapons program.
The film also has a romantic element, as the protagonist forms a relationship to strengthen his cover in Pakistan. Malhotra stated that the film is inspired by true events but not accurately documented.
Cast Of Mission Majnu
The film stars Sidharth Malhotra as Amandeep Ajitpal Singh. He plays a RAW field officer who is tasked with infiltrating Pakistan to gather intelligence on their illegal nuclear weapons program. Malhotra’s character, under the alias Tariq Ali, poses as a tailor and then a plumber in order to gather information. He also marries a local woman, Nasreen, played by Rashmika Mandanna. This creates a conflict as he struggles to balance his love for his country and his love for her. Mandanna serves as a source of calm in the film and had to work on her dialect and sensitivity to her surroundings for her role.
The first teaser for Mission Majnu, an Indian patriotic spy-thriller film was released on December 16th. The teaser highlights Pakistan’s defeat in the 1971 war and its subsequent interest in nuclear warfare. It serves as an introduction to Sidharth Malhotra’s character.

When And Where To Watch
Mission Majnu will be available exclusively on Netflix worldwide on January 20 at 12:30 pm IST. To watch the film, viewers will need to have a Netflix subscription, which starts at Rs. 149 for mobile users and Rs. 199 for the Basic plan that allows streaming on a TV or laptop in SD resolution. However, viewers on the higher plans with compatible devices can stream in Ultra-HD Dolby Vision format.
