‘The Kashmir Files’

‘The Kashmir Files’ has created a buzz around since its theatrical release of the movie. It follows the story of a Kashmiri Hindu college student brought up by exiled grandfather. The plot revolves around the student’s quest in the present time. The film presents an insightful story centered around the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the 1990s.

Akshay Kumar to act in a film on sex education and announces an OTT project




Akshay Kumar revealed during the Red Sea International Film Festival on Saturday in Saudi Arabia about his upcoming film on sex education that is supposed to be released next spring. Kumar also revealed that his long-awaited film with Amazon will start getting recorded next year.

The actor kept the details of the movie secret but told that the script of the film got finalized and the name of the movie (formally announced as ‘The End’) would change with shooting to begin in the upcoming year. He also added that the movie will be more science fiction with a lot of action-packed in it.

The actor also revealed that he is working on a film revolving around sex education. The actor feels that the topic is important to keep the focus on such a topic. He also added that he likes doing social films that can make a difference in society, especially in India.

Akshay has been making contributions to social issue films over the past few years including 2017’s drama Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and continued groundbreaking 2018 film Padman including others and has contributed immensely to changing the mindset of the population.

The actor also said that he picks up those topics that have societal concerns and makes them in a commercial way with songs, comedy, drama, and tragedy.

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya OTT Rights bagged by JioCinema

After the theatrical release of the Varun Dhawan starrer movie Bhediya, the film is set to get its OTT streaming. Within a few days of its theatrical release, the digital airing rights of the film are locked. The movie will get its OTT release on JioCinema. With these begged rights, the competition in the OTT space is getting heated. This is due to the increasing competition in the streaming space and platforms searching for the biggest blockbusters to stream over their platform.

OTT spaces are making their content library much more diverse and full of blockbusters. JioCinema, an OTT platform owned and operated by Viacom 18 and TV18 is also searching and striving for quality content streaming. The news has already grabbed the attention with the begging rights of big-ticket movies, Bhediya. 

The Hindi movie Bhedia gets its release in theatres on November 25, 2022. They received positive feedback from the critics and made a steady performance at the box office. The movie is made under a budget of Rs. 60 crores and the box office collection of the film was around Rs. 43.67 crores and later on the collection dipped. The movie is now set to entertain viewers from the comfort of their homes. 

Bhediya OTT Release: When and where to watch

Made under the banner of Maddock Films, Bhediya will stream on JioCinema as per the recent announcement. But the release date of the movie over the OTT platform is not announced yet. The film is currently running in the theatres and will soon be released over digital platforms. The satellite rights of the movie have been begged to the Colors Cineplex.

The official trailer of the movie was released in the month of October 2022. Directed by the directors of Stree and Bala, the movie is said to be the first creature comedy.

The film stars Varun Dhawan (Bhaskar/ Bhediya), and Kriti Sanon (Dr. Anika/Lady Bhediya) in lead roles. Additionally, Abhishek Banerjee, Saurabh Shukla, Deepak Dobriyal, and others are also featured in the movie. Kelkar is the narrator of the movie while Shraddha Kapoor reprises her character from the movie Stree in the song ‘Thumkeshwari’.

That ‘90s Show trailer out: when and where to watch



That '90s Show Trailer

The sitcom That ’70s Show is going to have its new sequel named That ’90s Show. The show has got its trailer released on the official YouTube channel of Netflix. The show is destined to be released on January 19th. The teaser shows Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna visiting her beloved grandparent Kitty and Red AKA Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith for the summer where she connects with the new generation of Point Place kids under the eyes of her grandparents.

The show will not come up with the regular faces of That ’70s Show full-time but will show several alums including Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama are expected to make guest appearances. However, no one from the past show has appeared in the released trailer but the chances are that the guest will appear in future trailers released by Netflix.

Apart from Red and Kitty, it is quite unclear to get information about how other characters from the original series will appear. The previous show That ’70s Show can be accessed on Peacock. The viewers can access the content by renting or buying the content on Amazon Instant Video.
