Pathaan Box Office Collection

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film “Pathaan” directed by Siddharth Anand has brought back a much-needed excitement to Bollywood. It has been breaking records since its release on January 25th with a Rs 57 crore opening. The film earned Rs 57 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 70 crore on the second day, Rs 39 crore on the third day, and Rs 53 crore over the weekend. On the fifth day (Sunday), it’s estimated to have earned around Rs 65 crore. In just 5 days, the film has earned over Rs 280 crore in India, making it the fastest film to reach the Rs 200 crore club, beating KGF 2 and Baahubali 2’s Hindi version.

Pathaan, its box office collection, and its success

“Pathaan” is making waves in India and internationally with its impressive box office performance. The film’s Rs 57 crore opening day was the highest single day in India and set the record for the highest opening weekend. The film aims to beat Dangal’s Rs 387 cr to become the all-time highest-grossing Hindi film. Its international ticket sales have reached Rs 429 crore in just four days.
Shah Rukh Khan’s return to films with “Pathaan” after four years is being celebrated due to its box office collection and success. The film’s strong numbers come as a relief for Khan, who had a string of box office failures with “Zero,” “Fan,” and “Jab Harry Met Sejal.” The success of “Pathaan” is also a boost for Bollywood, which had limited hits crossing the Rs 200 crore mark last year.

Shah Rukh Khan expressed gratitude towards his fans by waving to a crowd waiting outside his home, Mannat. He shared a video on Twitter with the caption: “Mehmaan Nawaazi Pathaan ke ghar par… Thank you all my Mehmaans for making my Sunday so full of love. Grateful. Happy. Loved.”

The Controversy

The film received several ups and downs before the release of the “Pathaan” trailer. The controversy started with the first song of the film “Besharam Rang,” due to its costumes. The colors of SRK and Deepika’s costumes in the song drew criticism from several political groups, who called for changes to the music video before the release of the film. The production company subsequently released a dance number, as well as the film’s theme song, “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.” The movie with all of its action won the hearts of the audience and the theater seemed like a party hall when the Pathaan song started.

Pathaan Movie Review At Its Core

In “Pathaan,” Shah Rukh Khan plays a RAW agent who is on a sabbatical but is called back into action when a threat to the nation arises in the form of John Abraham’s character, Jim. The trailer promises an action-packed film with Shah Rukh at the center of the action. Salman Khan with his extended cameo appearance in the film will catch the viewership of all Salman fans as well.

Talking about the technical side, the cinematography of the movie by Satchith Paulose amazes the eye of the viewers. And editing by Aarif Sheikh lefts no room for boring passages.

In an essence, Pathaan is packed with entertainment, action, emotions, thrill, patriotism, and the never-ending charm of Shah Rukh Khan that broke the ticket sales record on the very first day. Audiences come up with both positive and negative Pathaan movie review but to a larger segment, the movie is getting the title of a BLOCKBUSTER!
