Streaming giant, Netflix has always amazed its viewers with the seamless delivery of quality content and quality services. Now, the platform is all set to make a mark in the streaming world with its bid to make the platform more convenient for users. The platform took its blog post to announce the expansion of its language availability. The platform is going to provide Audio Descriptions and Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Netflix in a blog post said that access to entertainment over decades is determined by the place you lived and the language you speak. It also added that by increasing the SDH and AD language availability in more than 20 languages, they are trying to bring the ability to see lives reflected on the screen irrespective of where are you from, what your abilities are, or even which language you speak. The platform is also introducing new badges for films and shows that have AD and SDH to make it all convenient to discover stories that suit your needs.
Apart from that, the platform also said that they are telling a number of stories by and with people with disability and have launched the collection titled ‘Celebrating Disability with Dimension’ that features more than 50 shows and films with stories or characters about disabilities and disabled people.
